Meet Our Founder: Siafa - Driving Transformative Investment in Africa
Siafa is the Founder and CEO of Auctus Ventures, an investment firm focused on transformative industries in Africa. He is an experienced policy analyst and trusted advisor to governments, development agencies, NGOs and the private sector, with expertise in risk, financial services, procurement, governance, economic development, sustainable finance, and diplomacy. Passionate about leading transformative change on the national and international levels, he advised the Sierra Leone Minister of Finance on post-Ebola recovery and the Liberian Ambassador to the United Nations on creation of the Sustainable Development Goals. His vision for Auctus Ventures is to improve livelihoods and end extreme poverty through jobs and wealth creation. Previously, he worked in strategic initiatives and financial services for Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, he has 15 years of experience in development planning and policy implementation in Africa. This includes working for the World Bank, United Nations, and the OECD. Siafa serves as co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Liberia National Port Authority.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in Asian studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Additionally, he earned his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
